National Parks Service – John Manson and Ruth Rafael each gave a presentation to the association. John gave us an outstanding slide show on the history of Evacuation Day which was fact- and fun-filled. Ruth gave a presentation on the layout of the Heights from the revolutionary days to present. Everyone at the meeting enjoyed both presentations.

Boston Police – Sgt. Bill Meade and Patrolman Rich Doherty told us there weren’t too many incidents this past month. Patrols have been increased and they are looking for double parked cars in the neighborhoods. Cars are being tagged and towed. They also informed us there is a new Captain at District 6 and his name is Captain Robert Cunningham.
